A little Bit of Christmas Here and There!

 My old christmas theme from my bedroom at home was green,blue and purple to match my decor. So when I moved it my rental property I decided just to go along with the same Christmas theme again. Here is little decorating I did recently to add some christmas spirit.

LED Christmas Lights?

 I figure since I want to be eco friendly I would spend the extra money and buy LED Christmas lights. I really hate the coloured LED light (they are just not christmas to me) so I decided on the LED Warm white lights.  I have to admit the warm LED Christmas lights are better then the original LED lights, but they just aren't the classic incandescent Christmas lights.

PROS


1. use less energy then incandescent Christmas lights
2. apparently last longer then a normal incandescent light bulb
3. Don't break as easily, since they are made out of plastic





CONS

TOP 5 reasons why I am still not a fan of LED Christmas lights:

1. you can't replace them, once they burn out you have to throw out the whole string of lights (how eco friendly is that)
2. Their not as bright as incandescent Christmas lights
3. The colours are off, they don't feel/look like christmas lights
4. expensive compared to incandescent Christmas lights
5. everyone is replacing there old christmas lights and throwing out there old christmas lights (wasteful and polluting our landfill sites)
