Staircases

A entrance to a house is a seller, who doesn't love a huge entrance with a big staircases. I am not so much into the spiral cases as much as the straight, L or U shaped stairs though. I am a big fan of the tradition stair case with the white raisers and stained wood runners. Here are some pictures that I found that are satisfying my love for stair cases.

What about second stair cases in houses (back stair cases). I think they are great, I love how they bring you to a different part in the house. This back stair case in the Home Alone movie brings you right to the kitchen. I LOVE IT.

Also see a back staircase leading to the kitchen in the background of this photo. :)

Love this style of the tradition staircase.

Stenciled Risers. I think it is pretty awesome and it creates a fun and funky mood.

Mud Rooms

Mud Rooms are something that I love because they are practical but let beautiful in there kind of own way. Mudrooms are starting to become more and more popular in new homes because people are starting to realize how useful the space can actually be. Here are some pictures of Mudrooms I found online and I hope that they will inspire you just like they inspired me.

Man of the Hour!

Truthfully I really hate to admit it, but I really can't do everything by my self even though I like to believe I can. I am usually the one that comes up with the ideas and then I have to yell for help to make it actually come together. I love doing the dirty work but sometime you have just have to realize you may need another set of muscles to help you. So I thought I would share my top secret with you........ his name is Zach(my boyfriend) and the majority of stuff you see on my blog is because I have his help, he is the most amazing person.
